This book freezes my pursuit of Signposts in search of a better place to work, what I have referred to as ‘my iguana’. But the ideas which underpin my creature will continue to evolve beyond the pages of this book. Not only because I will keep laying paths, but also because of you.
There might be ideas here that you agree with, and no doubt others you vehemently oppose; both a catalyst for you to create an iguana-like creature of your own.
Having travelled this journey, my advice is not to ignore the nagging thoughts that come from your creature. Instead, I encourage you to take it on a pilgrimage of your own. Walk if you feel it’s necessary, or don’t, but allow yourself to explore the absurd and follow your creature to a place that is beyond the beaten track.
Then lay paths to reach your version of the workplace. I hope we meet there.
Although I have more to say, I prefer to get out of your way now and wish you a “buen camino”.
